BEN REED
Bens background in building and design and a love of the great outdoors led him to move to the highlands in 2013. There he began to work as a lead joiner in one of the UK’s leading modular construction firms.
CHARLES ENGEBRETSEN
Originally a sculptor and commercial fabricator, Charles specialised in modular construction and logistics in 2014.
Ben and Charles believe that modular building is the future of construction. The idea evolved during a surfing trip on a windswept Scottish beach. Changing out of wetsuits in the back of a cold transit van left them wishing for a warm, comfortable space looking out to their stunning surroundings. The concept of providing modular buildings to any and all areas of the highlands and islands grew and Fior Living was born.
